With Sir Charles Barkley's retirment what happens with our salary and roster. Does his salary go towards our cap still or will we get some of that back? Christopher, Even if Barkley's salary is taken out of our salary equation we are still over the cap. We may be given the "Medical Exception" in which case we may get a couple of mil to sign a free agent, but there is no way we can replace the whole $9million of Barkley's contract.
Thanks for the reply davo I thought that was the situation I just wanted someone to confirm it for me. I think there is a good case for a Medical Exception,but I dout we'd get one. By trading and realsing players will get us more money. Trading for a player with the same or less cap money.
