    Hi, I have been working on a new project lately called pix3r, an online image editor powered by AJAX. The service will allow you to upload a file, host it on exoload servers, and perform image editing right in your browser window with instant previewing and editing. All of this will be completely free.

    Some features that we have lined up for the site:
    * Upload and host your image
    * Crop
    * Resize
    * Blur
    * Add text
    * Watermark

    The site is located at http://www.pix3r.com. There is currently only a splash page, but you can also signup to be notified when the site launches.

    I want to make this service the best possible, so I'm looking for things to add to it. If you have any other suggestions, please post here.

    what about adding borders. to make the pictures look like they are in a picture frame. would be nice for family photos and such. u gotta have a msg board too, let people show what they can do and let them share photos right on the site. I dunno if this one is possible, but maybe create an online slideshow or something. maybe my ideas blow, i dunno, just trying to help out. sounds like a great idea though! good luck with it!

    Thats a great idea for a site. I like the color scheme and font size as well on the main page.

    Flip and mirror functions. It's amazingly simple, yet a lot of programs seem to leave these simple functions out. Also, a free-rotate function might be neat, though I'm not sure how you could implement it.
