Does the following counts ??? The officiating of this game really got some problems. How do you explain a foul given to Yao Ming for Peter Ramos' headbutt ??
This is exactly what happen to a team without its only player. Oops, I thought I only saw one player from China against five from Puerto Rica. When Yao fouled out, it is the end of China to me anyway because I have no confident in his team-mates.
It could be some true in what pryuen said. Why did Yao got a foul when Peter Ramos butted his head against Yao? Ramos does not mind sacrifice one of his own foul but it is costly to China with Yao fouled out. Maybe, pryuen is wrong to put it as 5 against 8, I think it should be 1 against 6.
The chief referee is from Lithuania.....probably not in good personal terms with Jonas Kazlauskas (JOKING).
Well, at least the FIBA referees have been consistently calling fouls on Star Center.... Yao is basically getting Tim Duncan type of officiating now!!! Getting into fouls trouble every games!!
Well, this quote of "5 versus 8" is on sina.com, tom.com and sohu.com from different articles of different reporters. Maybe it was because Yao Ming had complaint in Mandarin, so it was not reported on any other international media ?? But having skipped my lunch break, as well as coming into work late in the afternoon just to watch this game live from CCTV5, I did witness some of the most ridiculous officiating..... Yi Jianlian hit on the arm while going for his layup..... without foul Yi Jianlian got his nose elbowed, and bleeding in over time and no foul Du Feng got slapped on his face....with no foul and of course 1 foul on Yao Ming for Peter Ramos' head butt...... That could have sparked Yao Ming's burst of agony and frustration and refused media interview in the mixed zone.
Yao might get into deep trouble calling out referees. Worst case scenario, suspension in the upcoming game(s). Oh well, at least a couple posters here will be happy to see that happened.

All the refs suck. Someone needs to develop computer refs that are unbiased! When these stupid refs are replaced by computer robots, maybe then they will realize they are not so mighty after all.
I wonder what if Yao kick the sh*t out of some ref on the last game, what would happen? Yao get baned from the game? well it is the last game, and what else? oh china cant play next WC? well, wiith refs like those, CHina might as well not to play next time. Plus, no one gives a sh*t about WC anyway, at least I dont, Yao can still play in NBA, still gets his endorsement here in North America and Asia, which conver most of the freaking planet. BUt kicking some arrogant ref's ass will make other refs think twice about making unfair calls for his own personal likes or dislikes. seriously, what is the penalty if Yao kicks some ref's ass and sends him to the hospital, besides the 3 mil for the hospital bill?
Some Chinese mobs needs to take this as national pride and brake these ref's legs. (joking of course)
