I bet a majority of us do not have a subscription to ESPN ... and the few that did probably have already seen the article.

Please copy and paste or summarize.

Heck, not a lot of people on this board like ESPN to begin with, so I doubt anybody will pay to get sports news that's probably on another site for free...

...and Space Ghost, I'm SHOCKED that you would even THINK about posting copyrighted material that has to be paid for! God forbid somebody squeezes ESPN out of a few bucks. ;)

ATTENTION BBS USERS: This weekend, we're all going to Space Ghost's house to watch some free, unscrambled p*rn!

We don't need to see the text. It's obvious. I have no inside knowledge of what happened, but I don't need that, either. There's one simple explanation for the impasse with Hakeem, the seemingly strange reluctance of the Rockets to offer him a little more money, the patience of Mo Taylor and David Falk, and the quick resolution of Mo's contract. The deal was agreed to in principal weeks and weeks ago, and unofficially, the Rockets were already up against the the cap. Remember Dawson's comment during the Hakeem talks that the Rockets were trying to see whether they could move some contracts to make room for a better offer to Hakeem? Wasn't that a bit odd, if they really had cap space to work with? The most plausible explanation is that they didn't.

Once again ESPN shows how idiotic, and bumbling they are. If they had bothered to look into it, instead of trying to get the Rockets in trouble with the NBA, they would know that teams were allowed to negotiate contracts with players 2 months ago, you just weren't allowed to sign a contract with the team until July 18th. For a national sports service with supposedly the best writers and journalist, it's a joke how many rookie mistakes they make. All we need is for Aldridge to report it and it's icing on the cake!
