First off, let me pay homage to Sir Charles. I always thought he played hard, and i thought he was the heart of the rockets, no slight to hakeem. I for one am glad he was a houston rocket, and am glad we made that trade.

Now, we are rockets fans, so i dont think it would be too direspectful of me to bring this up. If you do think it's rude, sorry, im not trying to be.

I just heard on espn that philly is offering New Jersey Larry hughes straight up for Kerry Kittles. No slight on kerry, i think he's a decent player, but I also think we have seen the best of kerry's ability. My question is, is it not obvious that the rockets can put together a package better then Kittles ? Heck, i think i would rather have Mobley then Kittles. If kittles is enuff to get Larry, I think the rockets could put a Mobley/ 1st rounder or carlos/ kenny thomas to get larry hughes. Heck, that may be too much actually.

Only reservation is, why is philly so desperate to get rid of the guy ? Do they know something we don't ? What do y'all think ?

Again, no disrespect to Charles, i just thought this was interesting.

I would like to get Hughes, but we havent got anything we could trade for him really.

We should not consider trade Mobley. He has that special something......He has the heart of a Rocket. His energy and enthusiasm is amazing.

I think the reason Philly dosent want Hughes any more is because he dosent get on with Philly's coach (Him and nearly every other philly player!).
Last season Hughes would have just had to shut his mouth as he was a rookie and not established in the NBA.But this season he has been doing a bit of talking about his relationship with his coach to the press and it dosent sound good.

But once again I dont think we have anything we are WILLING to trade that would get us Hughes.

It would be great though [IMG]

P.S.Barley was a TRUE ROCKET.....We will miss him [IMG]

Chris, you like Mobely alot ? I think he is a nice player, he's got a court savvy about him. But, I would give him and another player for Larry hughes. I think hughes is better then Cuttino at almost every phase of the game.

Man, but wouldn't a Hughes/marbury backcourt be scary in New Jersey ?

    gr,

Not as scary as an Iverson-Hughes backcourt in Philly.

I like Mobley over all the players on the rocks except Francis, hakeem, and Cato. Can the rocks trade Anderson? I like Anderson, but he wants to start and Mobley is better in my mind.

I would rather go after a small forward.

Sixers are offering hughes to NJ for Kittles. They need a 3rd team.

jazzsux, at least shandon anderson was willing to take less money to come here then play in that rat hole salt lake city. Have you ever been to houston ? BTW, francis seems very happy here, and he sure as hell didnt ask to be tradedto Utah.

Now, don't you have an Olympic official to buy ? Or how about some camp counselors to beat up and leave in the mountains ?

You are more obnoxious then the Portland fans.
