United States vs. China today, on ESPN 2 at 5:30am. figured this could be a place we could spend some time on if anyone else is staying up for the game like i am. to pose a question, where do your alliances lie? with yao or with the US (if you are american)? the only player i care about is yao for china, so as long as yao dominates and doesn't get hurt, i'm rooting for the US.
A week ago, I would have said I'd root for Yao and China. But now that the games are here, it's hard to root against the US. I guess I want the US to win; but I hope China makes it real close and Yao absolutely dominates.
i don't think the US has anyone that can stop yao.. the pure height advantage should be good enough for some nice 'international' put back dunks. just stuff it right off the rim baby
I got work at 10 am PST, so the game starts at 3:30 for me.... But I'll probably catch the first half or so. The earliest I ever fall asleep is like 4 am so hopefully others are up and we can talk about any sick put backs or facials Yao delivers.
I'll be rooting for China of course, but of course USA will win, unless the entire China team clicks for one game, and Yao utterly destroys Dwight Howard and Brad Miller in the paint.
Kinda hard thinking of how to start my first post, but yea, i'll be watchin the game also. Its hard to go against the US here. Again, it will be a "One Man Show" from china, but hopefully, yi jianlian or chen jianghua can step up.

Lol, stick around here and you'll be able to use your imagination from our words to imagine Yao posterizing the US centres (preferably Brad Miller).
I know Yao owns Miller, but what annoys me is when people put howard and yao in the same sentence. i hope yao destroy's howard so all these non-sense comparing will stop.
