    Ric, blasting the team does no good, as the Baseball Gods do not care about mere mortals. What they want is obedience, servitude, and respect. (Sacrifices help as well.) Do not show them up with brash predictions and delusions of grandeur, or they may exact swift and terrible revenge on you (like, oh, say, getting swept by the Cubs at home with your best 3 pitchers on the mound). Repent thy sins! Apologize to the Mighty and Awesome Forces That Be! Save yourself! Save all of us from a punishment worse than rooting for the Pirates!

    By the way, I knew Ryan Franklin was going to cost the Reds at least 2 or 3 games after they picked him up.

    One down today (gave up the winning run to the Cards today), 2 more to go...
