No More additions

Melvin Ely or any Pf that is better than Jho would make the offseason above decent...slightly

 

We still need a PF-C big guy. Mutombo is not gonna last. And the only other guy we have now who can play backup center is Juwan Howard. That doesn't look very good.

 

i think we have to go to camp and see how things look.

we need another shot blocker in case yao or deke go down. we will probably invite a couple shot blockers to camp.

 

Until proven otherwise I am a lot more comfortable in Deke/Howard covering 15MPG of back-up C duty than I am in our guard spots.

Before spending out last assets (TE, trade of Head or VSpan I guess) on an extra back-up 4/5, I want to see we have adequate off the ball shooting and stable all around play from the likes of Snyder, Head, Alston, VSpan, JL3, Abuz, etc.

We definitely need to trade Head, Span, Deke Sura, Hayes, Bowen, JHo, snyder, alston (the touchables) NOW if it can bring in pieces that would help establish a lineup for years.

I think this organization needs STABILITY!

Guys to start building steady chemistry for the next few years.

WE have to be willing to sacrifice....if that means taking heavy contracts from established players.....the window is open.

Its time for LES to open the wallet and do what Drayton and MCNair are hesitant to....pay for success.

He needs to give CD the luxury, because Champions take advantage of the luxury of mismatches in this league.

If the rockets put together a championship team they will bring in the bucks....they did in the past!

Create a culture in this city of GLORY, that say the Lakers have established...where games sell out and fans give due respect not because of two championships, but a combination of many.

So my two cents is SACRIFICE and PAY for STABILITY.
A BIG TRADE LIKE CLYDES THAT WILL BE QUESTIONED and then RESPECTED.

I'm also having a hunch that we'll get that SG and PF at the expense of bringing back former Rox trash...a deal in the likes of Kenny Thomas + Bonzi for Jho + fillers or Motay + Qrich for Jho + fillers....

 

This is a "piece" that we definately need.

 

i have a feeling a move might get done in camp. If not, i'd expect a midseason move with the T/E

 

We need to make more than one move if we want compete in the western conference its a no brainer

 

The roster is probably set til training camp. My real concern is the backup 5. I don't think Deke can handle it by himself. JH may be able to help, since the other backup 5's are in his realm. I would like a 6'11 or taller body here.

 

Have to change the name of the team to the Angels and maybe even re-locate. It's too hot in Houston.
