Of the choices listed, which will be closest to Mo's actual stats next year?

    Only 3 rebounds,come on now?

    I would say around 15-17 and 5-7.

I say 13 and 6 with the same minutes as last year.

Okay, who are the two jokers that voted 20/10? :)

Of the ones listed, I like the 20-5. Even if we get another center to go with the two things we have it is not going to be someone that demands the ball, more shots for Mo. I figure he stays out of foul trouble most games, so more minutes. He gets the ball when ready to shoot more often, just based on playing with the others longer. But the rebounding, he will never be a good rebounder. I felt like he really tryed at the last half of last year and worked hard on it. He does not have the instints to be at the right place, so he gets more fouls. We will get our rebounding from the kids and Mo just get in someones way, he is big enough for that.

I will be happy with the 20-5, we don't have a normal team based of what position players should do. So we will get by with a power forward that is not a normal power forward. :D

I think we use the word "if" too much. Mo taylor could be a better player "if" he loses weight and regains his quickness. Webber, Duncan, Garnett, Malone, Wallace, Howard, McDyess, Brand, and Jamison. Those are a list of 4's in the west, its no accident that Taylor only played 28 min per night. All of those players are quicker than Mo T, thus putting the pressure on him.
When he decides to shoot jumpers and fade away while the other guys are attacking him, he gets fouls and have to sit down. A soft jump shooting big man does our guards no justice if he can't draw fouls.

I'm tired of "ifs" with Taylor. He's been in the league 5 yrs and still has the same problems as he had as a rookie. If he comes in shape, if he rebounds the ball, if he goes to the basket, if this if that. Even without Hakeem he'll put up the same numbers, 13pts 5 rebs, 28 min/per.

Did you read what anyone else posted, or do you just pick a post to post something? There were NO ifs used until you posted 8. In fact it was a positive post until you tried to change that.

I think your second choice is closer to what it will be, except I think he will put up 15 points and 7 rebounds and be more of a low post presence offensively and on the glass now that he knows the Rockets need him with Dream gone. His rebounds will go up, it was actually low compared to the season before so he is a better rebounder. I expect between 7 and 8 boards a game, more like 7.5 rebounds per game.

I think Mo will have a great season. He has said that last season was not exceptable. I think he has worked hard this offseason and will adjust to the new rules perfectly. He has the medium jumper that a power forward needs in zone defense, so he will score high and he can also drive in well. I'm betting that he has worked really hard on rebounding this offseason. I think he will do awesome this season.:D

I agree with Ren and I also think Mo is going to score at least 15 and at most 17 and his rebounding will stay close to what he was averaging last season around 6. His mins will increase. If I remember correctly he had sickness or injuries in a few games where he was limited to 5-10mins and in those games alone they caused Mo to average less(with the fact that he had a slow start which cause him to average even less), I think he would have average 30 last season. This season now that he is more comfortable I think he will average at least 31 to 34 mins a game.

Living in LA I have seen Mo play in more than 100 games with the clippers and I have always though he was a near allstar type player when given the time. Believe me guys he can play alot better than what he did last season. Remember he's just 24 yrs old and it took him half the season to get comfortable with his role and then late in the season get re-ajusted when Hakeem came back. But don't expect 20-10 from him especially the 10. He's never been good at rebounding, it's just the way he plays he takes shots from the outside and looks for passes on the outside that he never really gets inside as often. If you guys can over look his rebounding(I know it might be impossible and I don't blame you) you might see that he is a valuable player to have.
