Hey, I just wanted to know if anyone had heard of whether any teams were interested in signing Carlos Rogers? He was a great practice player for us and had skills to play backup pf on many of the teams around the league. It was just that the Rocks are loaded with talent at the 4 position. So if anyone knows anything bout it, please post, thanks.

I saw something a while back that said he was considering options on a couple of teams like Detroit, but he wasn't getting much interest. He was also said to be considering Europe.

Detroit has never expressed an interest in Carlos and does not really have room for him anymore anyway.

Not sure where he'll end up. Hopefully somewhere though, as he seems like a good guy.

I understood the Rockets getting rid of Los but now that Hakeem's gone we might as well try and re-sign him. It probably won't happen, Rudy must have had a personal problem with him. He was all hustle and good play when he was on the floor, the only problem was that he never got to play. I would love to have Carlos back if it was possible.

Griffin is the same size but no one considers him a center so it isn't reasonable to assume Carlos could fill that role either.

Rogers is a nice guy and he hustles but he is injury prone and would never get any minutes in Houston.

Carlos did play center a few times last season though -- he always did pretty well.

I really like his game -- he leaves it all on the floor. I don't really know why the Rocks don't like him so much though -- supposedly he's not a good practice player, but eh, if he plays well in games, I think he's worth a one year deal.

Nearly every game Cato started / played I sent a psychic message to Rudy to replace him with Carlos. It rarely worked, unfortunately.
