i was going to open up an account on betonsports.com but when i went there they were closed down because of the potential court ruling against online gambling. is it still safe to do online betting? i was going to just open an account with bodog. any opinions?

Oh yeah, the two that you want to join is probably the worst of it's kind. Betonsports just stole every account's money due to the arrest here in the U.S. Bodog has good service, but their line and limit is one of the worst. Sportsbook has bad customer service, their line aint good either, and they also have a past of stiff player's money. All in all, just go to the website I recommmend, and take any of the A+, you will be fine without any problems, if you do some how, tell me, I will take care of it for you.
ive used Sportbook and haven't had any issues. The only one i had was setting up my checking account to transfer my winnings and they just did the activation again, in which went through and haven't had a problem since. I blame Mig for my betting addiction but, i only bet on NBA, so haven't bet since the 2-3rd round of the playoffs.
You never know when they're going to stiff someone, it migh not be you, but there will be someone that will get stiff by them, but even if they're somewhat reputable, you still should not play there, the juice is high, customer service is poor, cashout takes longer, and more hassel to deal with when you indeed have a problem. Advice: DO NOT play any online casino.
I had some money at Sportsbook which was just sitting in an account for about two years. I had forgot there was a balance left in my account. Sportsbook sent me an email a little while back after all this time, telling me my money was still them.

NOW YOU TELL ME I went from 20 bucks once, to 100 on a 5-1 odds bet, then got that up to 400 with Blackjack, got greedy, 3 100 dollar and one 80 dollar bet later, I was back to my 20 dollars. ;P
