    So, umm, yea...

    Hakeem is gone.

Let's wipe away the tears and get down to business.

We couldn't we trade one of our many forwards to Magic for Brendan Haywood? It cost $2.6 million over 3 years.

What about Mo, SA, and Mooch?

Maybe CD and Rudy are planning something huge. More probable is that they are still in shock over Hakeem leaving. Well, seems to me Hakeem isn't letting his feelings get in the way of taking care of business.

I posted twice in 30m. I'm just pysched that I don't have to work this weekend. No upgrades, no patches, just Astros and football.

But yea, let's tie up our loose ends, and start the season already.

They already traded him to Washington for Laron Profit and a future 1st rounder.

    SteveFrancis3,

    Thanks for the recap.

Sorry for the misunderstanding, my comment should've been translated as:

Doh! A legitimate 7-fter just got signed for $2.6 million over 3yrs. How come the Rockets couldn't trade one of their many forwards and sorry draft picks we got from the Raptors in the Dream-for-nothing deal? A 7-footer weighing close to 300lbs doesn't come around everyday. So we can package him for someone else if he doesn't work out for us.

But I can see how my comment was taken the way you took it.

I think we should go after Loren Woods. He would fit in well on our team.

Jason,Loren Woods has signed with the Wolves.Although he is better than Cato, but his lack of low post moves and size along with his poor concentration would have hurt us.

Since Loren Woods is YOUNG, they would want another young player or an impact center. We have neither or nobody we would want to part with.
