Israel and South Africa have a lot in common. In some ways Israel is actually work for those being oppressed.

With the military orders to destroy businesses in the occupied Palestinian areas that could compete with Israeli businesses, the people have no hope of pulling themselves out of the mess they are in. That part is worse than South Africa.

Things that are the same, are the fact that Israel occupies land with more Palestinians in it that Israeli Jews. They make laws that are different for people based solely on their nationality. Those laws favor Israelis and hinder or hurt Palestinians. Palestinian movement is restricted. Israel charges one price for supplying water to Israelis and another more expensive price to Palestinians, in addition to occupying and refusing to give control of the water resources in the area.

Their control of resources and having one set of laws for people of one nationality and a different set of laws for people of another nationality, relegating Palestinians to certain areas even when they had to be forcefully removed is very much like South African Apartheid.
