I used to teach, but I still dance and perform. I could show you the basics (aka foundation), and it's up to you from there. I could also recommend a few practice spots where a lot of other bboys go. They'll pass on the knowledge they have. There are also other "underground" dance forms very active such as popping, locking (boogaloo), house dancing. If you're interested in catching an event or 2, there's one this sunday at the Engine Room where you can catch all those forms on display. Then in December (1&2), there's a big event going down at the Meridian.
