I wouldn't have to worry about this if only the Texans were good...I'd be surprised if this didn't catch on at other stadiums...It's worse at the Mavs game...
I like that the guy went out of his way to note that swearing in and of itself is not grounds for calling the #. Sure, if someone is way out of hand, report them, but at a sporting event you are going to have to expect to hear some naughty words.
Hopefully, the Rockets don't implement anything like this... operator: You've reached the Houston Rockets Jerk Hotline fan: Uhh yeah...there's this fan in front of me that's acting up operator: What is he doing, sir? fan: Well, he's standing up and clapping whenever the Rockets make a basket operator: Is he being rude to you? fan: Well...no... operator: Is he using any foul language? fan: Well, not really, but he's being really loud, screaming "DE-FENSE!!" and "Nice pass!". I mean, he even had the audacity to scream and pump his fists in the air during that last run the Rockets made. operator: Umm, sir, this line is reserved for complaints about fans that are being excessively rude or foul-mouthed. fan: Come on! How am I supposed to talk to my clients with this guy yelling and cheering and stuff? operator: Good bye, sir... fan: Hello? HELLO?!?! DAMNIT, I'M GOING TO SUE!!
