After much thought, I've decided that this is a most fitting way for Charles Barkley to end his career. Deep down, we all knew that not here and not now would Barkley get the ring he so richly deserves. But after reading all of the accolades he's receiving, on this site, and on others, it seems to me that this sad event is the only way he could receive--and is receiving--the utmost RESPECT he so richly deserves. Rest assured; not only will the Rockets miss him, but so will the rest of the sport's brotherhood. It is a sad day.
