If anyone knows of an address where we can send letters of appreciation for everything he did, please post it here. I would simply like for everyone interested to send him a letter to wish him the best for his life and thank him for the person he was while in the NBA. I, too, didn't like him when he was with the Sixers and Suns, but I always respected him for the player he was, and he is still the only athelete that I have been simply awestruck by. By that, I mean that I was incredibly impressed with the person that he was when he wasn't in front of any cameras. Most atheletes tend to brush off other fans that get in their face. Not Charles. He was a true role model out of the limelight, if not necessarily in it, and he will be greatly missed on the court. I do know, however, that there are plenty more quotes to come; count on it. Anyway, I would like everyone interested to send letters of appreciation to him, and see that he gets them. Who knows? He may still retire in a Rockets uni. I will sorely miss his caricature out on the court, though. ------------------ "I would like to thank... everyone... for their contriboootions" Hakeem accepting his MVP award at the 1999-2000 NBA Finals.
Great idea! Perhaps the Houston Rockets home page is a place to look first for an e-mail to Charles. ???? Maybe Clutch will set something up.
Hey Clutch. Let us know if you know of an address where we can send him acknowledgements for his career.
