Jury Duty? How long til you are paid?

    Hey there, I served on jury duty (travis county) : Does anyone know how long it takes before you get your check in the mail?

    $6 for Jury Selection, $40 a day once selected. At 2 weeks? Yeah $366 I can use.

    Jury Duty pay has gone up recently. It used to be the pay barely covered lunch. They still don't pay anything like a living wage, but it is worth collecting. I think it was a couple weeks (3 or 4?) before I got my check. I'd ask your bailiff.

    I got my $6.00 about 1 week after I was there..

    hmm thats weird. when i did jury duty the lawyer for the winning side handed out crisp $100 bills at the end of the trial.

    On a slight tanget but I've never even been asked to jury duty
