Definately hope he is okay, was really anxious to see his progress this season.

    Such a random misfortune...

I'm not trying to be a party pooper, but maybe we should at least make sure he's ok before we make light of the situation...

    Just maybe.

    Thanks for the info, Faos.

I wish we had more Faos and less Van Gundier here.

Just did some reading up on the health effects of electrical shock and it's pretty serious. Non-lethal shock can still result in neurological damage (temporary or permanent), as well as kidney failure, destruction of muscle tissue, or development of cataracts.

Sudden contraction of the muscle can break or dislocate bones. You can look fine on the outside but suffer severe burning of internal organs and tissues.

Instant death in 3-15 out of 100 cases. Sometimes as low as 50 volts.

Here's the link I read all this stuff at. There's some more info for those that are interested.

Apparently he dodged a bullet, since I just read that he was released from the hospital. Could have been pretty nasty.

I completely agree. No one knows how serious this is yet, so I don't think it's something we should be joking about.

Sorry if I sounded insensitive, but after reading that he's released from the hospital aready, I figured he wasn't seriously hurt.

I am very glad that it did not affect his heart rythm on the spot to the point where it would lead to scd.(sud. car. dea.)
