Thanks to ClutchCity.net, I can say that I saw Dream's final game as a Rocket! We didn't think it was going to be his last game, rumours were already flying that he was coming back. Now we know, he's not coming back and I thank Clutch and Jeff for getting us together to witness history. Hey, I even got a bobblehead out of it. Thanks Dream Thanks ClutchCity! rH
Great way to look at it, Head. All these whiners that post thread after thread saying "Hakeem sucks", "No he doesn't", "Yes he does", "Your gay", etc. are missing it. I'm not so mad that Hakeem has left the team as that was inevitable. I'm just mad he's playing for another team. Those of you saying you'll watch Toronto games because Hakeem is on the team I don't understand. If I ever see Hakeem on the television wearing a Raptors jersey, I will turn the TV off. As it is, the thought of it makes me sick. It doesn't matter if Hakeem was greedy, it doesn't matter if the Rockets didn't do enough, it only matters that he is no longer a Rocket. And that quite frankly hurts... But as rockHEAD, I, too saw his last game as a Rocket just as I saw his first games as a Cougar and somehow I'm equally happy as I am disgusted. Now figure that one out...
I live in the midwest and had never seen a Rockets game. I went and saw the Rockets demolish Chicago this year. It is funny when I think about it, I just knew it would be the last opportunity to see him in a Rockets uniform. Anyway, he had a good game that night and I am truly happy that I went to that game. Even got to razz my Bulls-fan co-worker.
