Polynice for $1 million, Instead of Jackson for 5 or 6

Just read on Sportsline that he opted out of his $2.4 million contract. Now that there is minimal interest, he might except a $1 million a year contract. Seems low to me and if that is the case, I would take him before Jackson at around 5 or 6 million. If I was CD, I would do a 3yr- $7 or $8 million.

    LOL SCF :D

I'd rather have Sabonis than either of the two really, because Jackson is asking for more than he is worth IMO. Sabonis is probably right in the middle of the two, around 3-5 million...the same that they tried to bring Dream back for. I guess most Rockets fans aren't big on Olden though, because he has been abused in more games by Dream than any other center that ever played.:)

HPD is hiring. He could probably get an additional 35K.

Uh---no! Surely, we can do better than a phoney policeman who also likes to impersonate an NBA center. I honestly think Cato is better than Officer Olden--I know Cato is a better free throw shooter!

I don't know if anybody was as thoroughly abused by Hakeem Olajuwon more than Oden Polynice. It just wouldn't seem right to have Hakeems #1 whipping boy filling out his vacated roster spot.

From a bball point of view, he'd be a nice addition. Hakeem's abused every C at some point in time, that is irrelevant. I'd rather have Sabonis than either Jackson or Polynice, but the cop would be nice for a lowball if Sabonis stays in Portland. Especially if we could get him to a short term deal...

That's a great idea, except that he's not any good.

    At all.

And he won't ever be any good.

    At all.
