What type of plan should I look for? Spray for ants and roaches and termites? Come out every 6 months? What is a reputable company that is cheap? ABC Pest Control is right up the street from me so I was thinking of calling them. I also received a flyer from a company called Splat.
    Any ideas?

this is a good thread. Also how much do they charge? I heard most places charge 50 bucks to spray for ants and roaches.

I use Advanced Pest Control. They charge about $70 buck each quarter. I'm not sure how long I'm going to keep using them because earwig bugs are all over the place. They've even gotten in my lights in the ceiling from the attic. They end up frying when the light it turned on.

Faos, those are nasty looking. Glad I don't have those.
My biggest complaints are ants and silverfish. I get cockroaches every once in a while but I know they're from the outside. No small ones in the house. The wife keeps it pretty clean. But ants do abound.
The quotes I've gotten in the past are like $500-700 a year and they come out every quarter and any time you call them with a problem.
Another question is for termites... technology-wise, do they still need to dig holes all around your house and drop the stuff in there or is there a better method now.

i'll get the name of the group we use. they don't require a contract, which i love. they call me to schedule once every few months or so...but there's no requirement. i pay them per visit. i like that flexibility.

Supermac, I'll give Cypress a call.

MadMax, if you could find the name of the group you use I'll check them out too. Would like 3-4 quotes.

    Thanks.

I was hoping for an answer to this question as well, so I decided to bump it. Anyone?

I use Premier Pest Control. They are down in Ft. Bend County. $52 per quarter. Sometimes I get earwig bugs too, but only occasionally, and usually during June & July only. I hate the clicking sound they make!
