    My friend has some kind of virus or something on their myspace. It sends out bulletins with advertisements for ipods and things when she didnt send it out. Does anyone know what and how to get rid of this? Thanks.

    Myspace has a message to update to Adobe Flash player 9. (sounds weird to say Adobe Flash)

    I think the old player was being hijacked.

    google "spybot" or "ad-aware", download and install. should remove the spyware. could use an anti-virus such as Nortan or McAffee, but those cost money

    How did they get rid of it? did they just d-load the flash 9 like others have suggested?

    my friend is getting the same thing. not for ipod ads, but ads none the less... im becoming increasingly frustrated with myspace's troubles

    is becoming more and more common. for charging millions for front page advertising, and popups and such throughout the site, you would figure the could handle the traffic. yahoo! msn google all do just fine.

    myspace is for morons....honestly, how friend deprived could someone be to check their myspace page 20 times a day! As if IM wasn't bad enough. Just my opinion. I feel the same way about cell phones.
