    unreal. makes me sick. this is why they will win the central every year. great under the radar move for a great 2nd baseman.

    the cards play to win. the stros play to let washed up, pathetic 41 year-olds undeservedly limp to 3000 hits for sentimentality's sake.

    The washed up 41 year old's stats are virtually identical to the great 2nd baseman the Cards picked up.

    I wouldn't call Hector Luna nothing. He is a good bench player.

    you're right actually. my point was, they are constantly attempting upgrades, which is a foreign concept in astros-land.

    what exactly have the cardinals accomplished over the last decade that the astros haven't? nothing. acquiring ronnie belliard doesn't change that.
