He does not confirm it, he says it was rumored. Obviously, notwithstanding all the evidence to the contrary, it wasn't a big enough issue for the Rockets to not make James the #1 priority this off season.
wow that's some serious manipulating of the truth. he says iverson has lead his team to the playoffs 6 straight year, which isn't true, but the best part is that he says mcgrady has only lead his team to the playoffs once. that's where it gets shady and you can see the author has an agenda. well his current team is the rockets, so of course it's only once because he's been here 2 seasons and was hurt his second season. so iverson gets to have his playoff record intact because he's only been with one team, but mcgrady's is reduced becuase he was traded, totally ignoring the 3 out of 4 years in orlando.
Hell naw iverson is a ball hog and no way in hell is he a JVG type of player which seems to be a requirement for playing for the Rockets these days. And Billy King already said he aint trading Iverson so its not gonna happen

Dude please i would not do that trade if they threw in any one on that team other than igudala. I would not even consider this trade if it was straight up.
This is the worst article I have ever read. McGrady has led his team to the playoffs without the help in Orlando. There are so many mistakes . He keeps talking about how Iverson is the better player than McGrady but yet he wants this trade to happen
My fault. Some technical mistakes on my part. Could have titled the thread differently. At first glance, I took the writer seriously, but a few mins after posting, I realized how horrible he is. "Confirms" was a poor choice of wording.
Yes, the article sucks, it's poorly written and the guy didn't check his facts. But more than that, it's unoriginal. Didn't Screamin' A. Smith or one of his clones make this same suggestion like two weeks ago on some ESPN show?
I say trade Yao for Webber too while we are at it. May be somehow the Iverson and Webber duo will work in the West.
Any trade threads with the name Mcgrady in them should be locked immediately. This is the last guy we will trade, he is our team.
The only reason you would trade McGrady would be to rebuild. Anything else, the Rockets wouldn't get full value. He's too good
