Lucas is the primary backup to Alston. V-Span won't be backup he probably won't get off the bench this coming season.
JWill lost some of his passing. He was just absolutely fantastic when with the Kings..but he never did manage to cut down his TOs, that's why they traded him. Also, JWill is a decent defender, in my opinion, a little better than Alston
I watched JL3 in the summer league here in Las Vegas. Great penetration, utilizes the pick and roll well, and a decent jumper. BUT, I wouldnt count on any substantial minutes this season, he has work to do on the distribution end if he's gonna be a serviceable PG in the NBA. So with time he could be a strong #2 PG. Real nice guy, signed autos readily!
good signing... he needs to watch from the bench for a year, then he can step it up next year. good depth in case of injuries as well. i hope he gets a chance to really earn his next contract. as others have mentioned, we should feel lucky if phoenix was interested in him... however, don't plan on JLIII runnin and gunnin with JVG anytime soon.
He will start out about 10 minutes a game but I think as the season goes on he will be at about 20 minutes. Will play an important role for the Rocks.
Done deal. 3-year deal with rest of MLE. http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/sports/bk/bkn/4080068.html
I think the combination of Rox' back court is done. And Among 14 signed players, J.Howard is the first choice to be traded as Rox definitely need one athletic player at the position of 4 and 5. PF-Cs like Hawks' Pachulia and Lakers' Mihm and Cook are suitable to be considered.
