One possibility that no one has talked about in a long time that I feel has a real possibility is Latrell Sprewell. I think when no team offers him the full mle he will fall back on our deal. Just a hunch. :D

If what he was offered last time by minny wasn't enough to feed all his kids, I'm pretty sure the LLE or the vet's min could be enough to feed his pets. His pride has put him in a corner that's forcing him into retirement. IMHO.

...And I'd take Bonzi over him any day of the week.

We have enough 2 guards. No thanks. If sura retires, then go for Spree. But as of right now, hell no.

Actually, he and JVG should be on good terms. I mean, it was JVG and the Knicks that took him on after the choking incident and helped him to revive his career. Of course, the rockets can't offer enough to let the man feed his family....

Overrated even in 2003-04. He only put up good stats because he played 40 minutes a night.

Dude had two dunks in ALL of 2004-05.

LOL ... whoa. Didn't realize that. To me that shows he's old and therefore screams of a potential JVG acquisition. :)

Is there any evidence that Latrell is even trying to get back with an NBA team?

I hope JVG doesn't see this thread, he doesn't need any more lame ideas on personnel. Please, spare us of Latrell Spreewell. I hear that he and Strickland, Oakley, "Spoon," Ward, Ewing and Rice are opening an assisted living home, and are going to live there, together, eventually with JVG, named "Old Knick Villas." Their slogan will be, "Ole Knicks never leave, go away, or diappear; they become Rockets."
