on cnnsi they had the whole press conference. He said he will be there for the rockets in spirit and in body because the kids will be in for a tough time. Very sad to see it end like this.
Im stunned. Im shocked. Im hurt. Im crying. It wasn't supposed to end this way. As TEX says "Goodbye and Good Luck" old friend.
It just shouldn't have ended like this. He deserved so much better... I have grown to be a big fan of Chuck's over the last few years. Used to, I couldn't stand him when he played for other teams. I enjoyed beating him in Phoenix, and questioned the wisdom of trading for him. But I think he has matured a lot, and shown all the Rocket fans over the last few seasons that he truly has the heart of a champion. He has carried this team through some tough transition years and I only wish he could have finished out this season. Not so much for the Rockets' sake - they're rebuilding anyway - or for our sake, though we would have loved to watch... but for his sake. I feel so bad for him now, and helpless because there's nothing we can do. Best of luck, Charles, and thanks for the great years you gave the Rockets. No doubt we will continue to see and hear from him for many years to come, but his presence on the court will be missed. Some people are just unique and irreplaceable... and we're lucky to have known this one... -Isabel (about to cry now)
