    Amazing if it is true. I can only do 80kgs and I weight 90kgs.

    Wondering how many NBA players can push up 110 kgs as Yao does.

    I'm pretty sure that Ben Wallace can push down 330~ pounds (Shaq's weight)

    I know.....it is unusual and queer for someone at my age to be so indulged and crazy idolizing a basketball player. I am old but still young at heart and I just adore and admire Yao Ming as a player and as a person. :eek: :eek: :eek:

    By push up , do you mean bench press or those military press up ?
    I use to bench 120KG when i was in college .

    I meant bench press and noticed most of the players in the draft can only do 84 kgs a few times. They will be crushed in Yao's paint :D

    I wish I can translate this article word-by-word like what I used to do.....but I was too tired after a whole day's work and after spending an hour on the previous one.

    But nevertheless I'll still give a summary of this one, as for the first time, for some strange reason, my name was mentioned in this article!! :eek:

    Suddenly I felt so honoured, and all my work for this summer had been rewarded !!! :D :D :D

    Already down to 66 seconds? Awesome.

    I know conditioning is so important to basketball players, especially centers who must run with the little guys on fast breaks and getting back on defenses. When I play a pick-up game, I usually play bad not because I'm shooting poorly or not getting enough touches, but because I'm usually winded and can't stay with my guy or don't have the legs to shoot or board. I'm glad Yao is not allowed to get on the court until Aug 1. This lets him get his conditioning to top form and allows him to avoid further injury by not playing when out of shape.

    Well if I'm not mistaken I read it before that per Jeff Van Gundy's stipulations:

    The guards need to do the 4 sessions of 5-peat to-and-fro sprints between the baseline under an average of 60 seconds per session.

    The forwards need to do it under 65 seconds.

    The centres need to do it under 70 seconds.

    So Yao Ming is doing great, very close to the speed for the smaller and quicker forwards.
