I'm not interested in the TV but I noticed in the NCAA thread you were talking about maybe selling your PSP. I might be interested if you are willing to sell it.
im going to buy ncaa 07 for it and give it another chance, if it sucks, i'll sell it to you wtih all the games.
can i have pictures emailed to frosteeice@juno.com. is there any damage to the tv what so ever? & what part of town do you live in? Thanks!
no damage to the TV. TV works just fine. This TV is one of the best tube tv's ever produced. read all the reviews on it. The matching stand is awesome. i'll email you some pics. i live inside the loop - off of west alabama
Hehe...wakkoman should be happy to have a PSP coming to him pretty soon. Good thing you didn't give it a chance by playing some of the good games for the system. Now that I think about it though, didn't wakkoman want it just because it was v1.5? I haven't checked it out, but I imagine NCAA will enforce a firmware upgrade. Do you have that homebrew that tricks the PSP into thinking it has the required firmware?
I gave the PSP a chance. Bought/played numerous games for the system, and in MY OWN OPINION the psp sucks (it looks pretty though!). I don't care about all your articles and the quoting of sales figures to defend your sony fanboydom. I'll take my dslite, thank you.
I just thought it was funny that NCAA 07 is the game that will make or break the PSP for you. This game probably has more technical issues that any other PSP game (including a game-breaking glitch), and all at the low, low cost of $40. It is like giving up on the DS after playing Madden 06 (@ $35-$40), or the 360 after playing GUN (at $60). If you've played games like Field Commander, SOCOM, Daxter, Syphon Filter, LocoRoco, Lumines, Virtua Tennis, Tales of Eternia, VP: Lenneth, Exit, the MegaMan games, Gripshift, etc., and didn't come away impressed, then that's your opinion and that's fine. I don't know what games you played, but hopefully they weren't like NBA Ballers, Madden, Tomb Raider, PoP, etc. Gaming on the DS is great. But to borrow an idea from several message boards, gaming on the DSP is even better. I didn't mean to create this sort of discussion in this forum. As I asked earlier though, are you able to play new games on your PSP on v1.5 via the homebrew stuff? I don't want you to accidentally upgrade your PSP to v2.xx when playing NCAA 07 and potentially miss out on selling your PSP to wakkoman (assuming he only wants a v1.5 PSP).
They have this homebrew out that emulates the 2.7 firmware for psps, so having and up to date firmware to play certain games wont be a problem. Plus that homebrew allows you to play ISOs
Yeah, that shouldn't be a problem, but if you don't do that and upgrade the firmware to play a new game, it might be more difficult to downgrade the firmware back down 1.5 (or whatever firmware you want). I didn't know if UTweezer knew about that and was planning on using that homebrew, or if he was going to update the firmware to play NCAA 07. If that was the case, he'd be selling you a PSP with 2.xx firmware (not sure what NCAA requires), not a PSP with 1.5 firmware. But since he's played numerous games for it and still has 1.5, I'm guessing he knew that already (unless they were all launch titles or something). I just wanted to make sure.
