He's a very nice guy. We were in some shoe store when my friend pointed him out when he walked in. I went up to ask him for a picture.. Me: "Uhh, excuse me sir but may I take a picture with you?" Williams: "haha sure man" GO TEXANS!
Cool beans. Glad you didnt hiss at him and spit on him like some of the freaking fair-weather fans we have on this board would have done. (or at least brag about how they would until they see what a freaking monster the guy is)
I met Ken Stabler today. He was at the restaurant I was. We talked about the Lungbrush. Nice guy. [/attention]
did you tell him to "get in your belly?" I bet he was massively huge! My next door neighobor used to be Natrone Means' backup in San Diego and he dwarfs me....by the way, I believe he is 40 now!
i had a dream a few weeks back that the texans scored on their first play of the season...and the offense looked amazing. i had a dream last night they had 150 total yards offense in their first game. and they got rolled. i'm being serious...why are the texans invading my sleep??
I'm sure your wife appreciates the texans invading your sleep more so than if it were say... the texans' cheerleaders.
I just moved back to Texas from Richlands, North Carolina, Mario's hometown. From what all the locals told me, he is a very humble man and was a very well-liked student at the high school. His mother still lives there (small community) and he just recently visited the high school to encourage the football team there.
Good to hear someone living in his hometown back up what so many others have said. I've never heard a negative word about his "character." I've watched interviews with his family on the Texans' team site and he seems to be very family oriented, humble, and gracious. Continues with the Texans tradition of making sure their players are winners off of the field (cue sappy violin music)... now if they'd only win ON the f*ing field!
my dad used to be his lawyer......I even stayed at his house when i was about 10.....very cool guy from what i remember. he still living in Houston?
He might still have a home there, but he's still in Alabama; he's been the radio color commentator for Alabama football for about 7 years now. Oh, and he was wearing his 1977 championship ring.
