    Erm no. Lucas is a 2nd year player, so the minimum for him is $664,209. That doesn't need to come out of the MLE. I would be shocked if he gets offered a contract more than 2 years at the minimum, because that adds up to $1,434,819 guaranteed. For a guy in his position, he can't expect any more money than that.

    <table>
    <tr><td>skip<td>killbill

    <tr><td>t-mac<td>novak<td>rybo
    <tr><td>battier<td>jho<td>hayes

    2 roster spots left with just over c.3Mil of the MLE left and the 4.2TE still intact.

    We'll see what he has to offer. I'm still wary of bring over European players as we all saw how well the last two turned out. That said I hope he does well.

    ...great signing, VSpan seems like a capable floor general, passer, decent shooter, and now maybe the Toyota will serve some spanakopita, tiropita, souvlaki at the games. It will be like the Greek festival all year!

    I am completely guessing on this one, but the Greek articles posted showed his name as killbill, apparently this is either his nickname or a bad translation that everyone picked up on. Others can comment. His first name Vassilous translates to William.

    If one player has had the most sudden impact in his first Euroleague season, he has to be Vasilis Spanoulis of Panathinaikos. Despite coming off the bench, Spanoulis has shown the future belongs to him. His athleticism, shot selection and all-around offensive skills have experts comparing him to some of the best European guards ever.

    I don't know, I watched it and it showed pull up 3 pooint range, driving to the rim fearlessly at bigger guys and passing to cutters. He seems to have all the skills you would want and further, Amel who posted the original greek stuff says he is the best combo guard in Europe. He certainly looks like he can play, let's give him a chance to compete.

    Good that the houston rockets sealed a contract with him. Hope he can contribute good with how many ever minutes he plays with this team. I think rockets did a great job bringing him in.

    He seems to be like a poor mans Steve Nash with a little more bulk and a little less foot speed. He makes up for his lack of physical ability with good BB IQ and competitive fire. I think he may end up being our starting PG knowing how JVG likes hard nose type guys and skip doesn't fit that mold. Plus if he proves to shoot the rock a little better than skip he'll be playing a good amount of minutes.

    A little early for Steve Nash comparisons. Lets first hope for Matt Maloney status and then move our way up the totem pole.
