Hey there Guys, Rockets fan here in Phoenix. I always gotta listen to how the Suns are doing and everything. But today I heard on their Sports Radio station that they are close to getting a deal done with Marcus Banks. He'd be their backup point guard to Steve Nash. So, where does this leave us?
Im happy for Marcus banks he can learn from a guy like Steve Nash and L. Barbosa. Instead of MIKE JAMES
does he really fit their system tho?? i mean he cant really shoot... i think jl3 wuda been a great fit in phoenix....im happy he's comin here but he wuda been so much better off goin to phoenix...
if JL3 could break in to the 2nd rotation, he could be a motivator. he's the closest thing we have to the old rocket days. but isn't really similar to alston? that doesn't get us much versitility. i'll take nostalgia anyday when it comes to the nba
nah, i really never liked banks game anyway. I think JL3 is better cheaper option for us. beside we pretty much guaranteed to have him, if suns got banks, meaning we are locked up with JL3. we still have vspan. however, the question remain is that JVg said he wanted alston to play lesser mins in the regular season, because he is taking too much loads. will vspan and JL3 be enough to handle the remaining mins? they are both "rookies" sort of players in NBA. i am hoping sura will be able to take some load off from them too and be playing some at the 2. PG - alston/JL3/Vspan/ SG - synder/head/ SF - Tmac/novak/Bowen PF - Battier/Howard/hayes C - Yao/deke IR sura.
