Agree that was a moving screen bad no call. Barkley could see his ring. That team was as good as any.
Yep, I don't think I've ever had as empty a feeling as when that shot went down, I think I was in a daze for a few hours afterward
they aren't gonna call a moving screen in that situation and barkley still could have gotten over. I think he just got caught off guard
No way Clyde should've pick it up if anybody. I remember being at the game we all stood around for at least 30 min in our seats.
Yeah, same kinda story here. I came on board right before the glory years in 92, 93. I was in high school. The games just felt more FUN. (Even before the title). My theory? It's not the Rockets that's changed. It's life. As we get older, we get more unhappy. We don't have our first kiss, we have our first divorce. We don't ride our bikes to the movie theater, we ride our cars to an unrewarding job. We don't look forward to getting out of bed, we look forward to going to sleep. Getting back to this thread, life is like Matt Maloney's career. It only has one trajectory: downward.
I grabbed a baseball bat and smashed our closet door. I really wanted to see Olajuwon vs. Jordan in the finals.
As did the whole world. A Chicago-Houston Finals would have been one for the ages. Hakeem, barkley and Clyde against Jordan, Pippen and Rodman.
