I'm sorry but I request that we remove those rookies from that list. We're just making it easier for the GM's that haven't done any preparation...

I agree, no one made a list of the rookies for the rookie draft, and I don't see how this is any different.

For the regular submitted players, it is different. Each team submitted 2 players, and everyone can easily see who those are, so there is no reason not to consolidate.

But with the rookies, there is some research that must be done, and that should be work left up to the GM. The amount of research a GM is willing to do determines how good or bad he is... and that should be left up to them.

Fine i will take the rookies off. That was done at Heath's request but, geez, if you guys don't want them on there then by all means they will come off. But i want you to know it took a freaking hour and a half to get the tables set up right and all the updated info in. Plus it doesn't take a damn genius to look at ESPN's website and figure out who didn't get drafted. And it isn't like listing their name, position, school and height(info that can be found on the same website) is going to give away some big secret. Sometimes i think you guys need to lighten up and remember this is just a game. Oh wait and while were at it why don't we change the draft to some secret time and date so that most gm's don't show up and we can skip their picks(if they can't do their on research and find out the secret draft time then they don't deserve to get their picks [IMG])
On second thought i am going to wait for Cat to rule on this one. He is the commissioner.

Well I would definitely not want to make your hour and a half go for nothing, so could you just change the order of the college guys?

I mean you have them in the exact order they came in the real draft, we went over this before about ranking the draft pool. So at least change the order so you won't make it too easy for everyone else.

Jesus, Castor. If I came off that harsh, I am sorry.

I know you worked hard on the tables, and I am grateful. Thank you. I was just agreeing with what BGM said. I felt like this situation was no different than the rookie draft, so why should anything be changed. I didn't realize that the tables took so long to work out.

i guess i am just tired i am not really mad but consider this. Are any of the dumbass gm's going to actually pick these guys early in the draft. And even those guys have enough sense to look up rookies on any draft site.(i won't mention any for fear of someone wanting me to edit my post [IMG]). Like cat said there are reasons why those guys got drafted late and others not at all. That will be reflected in the ratings. I don't see what difference listing the names on the website(i often wonder if half the gm's even look at it anyway) if they are too stupid or lazy to look up names on another website they are probably not going to be interested in them anyway. The order has been changed. I started to do that when I first created the page but i forgot. However they were not all in order. I forgot Okur and had to add him in the wrong spot [IMG]. It is fixed now and all are listed randomly.

    CK
(Edit)OOPs forgot to mention this too. After i got the missing stats from Cat i said that i was going to put the rookies on the page and he did not seem to think it was a big deal [IMG] Sorry if my first post sounded like KBM I am a little stressed with all this house buying crap.

I agree - It was a list of names - only names.

In my opinion everyone available in the draft should be listed, then everybody would have the oportunity to check them out for themself if they wanted to draft them. As it is now we risk someones being surprises when the last pick in this draft is Rik Smits, as no-one thought he was available. (I guess that's cuz he's not)

I'm about to start to add the newest trades that involved picks and thought I should start with this one only to find out that the Common Draft table already have you (Wolves) with Utah's first rounder.

The list is still available on the website. It is just not in the original form. I conceded to changing the order i had them listed in originally(the order they were drafted in)

I would rather have Mo Taylor and his love of the Rockets than Webber and his love of our money.

Rocket's need power forward. Mo near now. Go near Mo.

    Jaren/Jermaine - who cares [IMG]

no one wants them anyway [IMG]

That would have been cool - you submitting 2 players that was not on your team (but there by mistake) and then having to put up no one. But the other was my mistake in thinking Jaren when it said J. Jackson (very old thread, error just kept living on). Atleast I didnt put up Jim Jackson, then there would have been a chance he could be drafted. [IMG]

By the way, take a look at Kelvin Cato's stats in the draft pool... he's been having a pretty impressive year! [IMG]
