Steve, You beat me to it..... but you forgot to mention that the HS was Klein HS. Also, don't forget that Texans WR Sloan Thomas went to Klein.
Pearland- Gerald Green (went to my school for like a month!) Quinton Moore- Safty OSU heres a vid of Quinton http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VDT9B-gcdsA
HAHA Robert, for some reason I just typed thinking everyone knew what school I was talking about. And I really suck if I forget a close friend, Sloan.
Dulles High School: Sean Patrick Flanery (Boondock Saints) Matt Jackson, yes, THE Matt Jackson I went to a bunch of Willowridge games when we played them and got to see TJ and Ewing tear it up, they were unstoppable. I also played football with a guy who is now a DE at LSU. Not sure if he plays though.
Nimitz had a slew of football players make it to the NFL. Aaron Glenn Jason Glenn Quintin Griffin Dante Hall Darrick Vaughn
Joseph Kahn, who directs music videos for a bunch of top bands, went to Jersey Village too. He's done Eminem, Beyonce, Blink 182, etc. Won a grammy for Eminem's Without Me video.
Class of 87 She went to Australia for a week on vacation the summer between our Junior and senior year and came back with a "good day mate" accent she talked with for the better part of the school year. She was always cute and hot in a her own way.
That was loaded team... 7 on the first team All-District, 3 on All-state. Beat the 4A eventual champs in a tourney earlier in the year (This was before 5A). 9 of the 12 played college ball and Hoage played college football. I loved playing basketball, but homey wasn't going to see anything except JV until senior year and then ride the pine. I forgot two guys who was there for a few years while their dad coached at Sam... Mark and Brent Price. Also, the Bunce brothers were there until Jr. High. Also forgot Alan Polk, Uof H RB and Royce Craft, Rice QB. (Royce started at Center on the 78 State BBall Championship team and always outplayed Rudy Woods from Little Dribblers to High School.)
You went to Klein and didn't mention Sloan Thomas. My son played with Killebrew. He told me that he was a moody guy and loved to stare at his reflection in the mirror. I don't recognize the rest, because I went to Ike.
I forgot to add Rick Husband who was one of the Columbia astronauts who was killed when the shuttle broke apart on re-entry. They named the airport in Amarillo after him. I can't believe how many famous folks went to my Dad's high school (Bellaire). Of course, they were all apparently after he was gone (he graduated in '62, I believe).
Klein Forest only has a few noteworthy people. Steve Jackson- CB for the Oilers in the early to mid 90's. Ron Edwards - DT just signed with the Chiefs. Played for A&M. Derrick Brew- won bronze in the 400 and gold in the relays in the '04 Olympics. Cant think of anymore at the moment.
Have you ever been to an Astros game to watch him play? Carl Crawford, that is? I'm asking this because one time, I was watching the Astros and Devil Rays, and a group of Mexican Guys were standing next to me (on the walkway, up against the fence, near the crawford boxes), and they kept yelling to Carl Crawford, and talking about how they went to high school with him.
