I don't think we had anyone famous at Baytown Lee anyway !

So it was easier to downplay it...

    Katy High School

    Renee Zellweger
Renee O'Connor (Xena: Warrior Princess fame)
Clint Black (his niece Amber was one of my best friends growing up)
    Eric Heitmann (49ers guard)
Adam Hall (played for Virginia, hit the game-winning lay-up against #1 Duke a few years ago)

You'd think we'd have more NFL players, but all our football players are white country boys who win only because of Mike Johnston and the legacy he left (i.e. always play like a team).

    Kinkaid School:

    Bushs
    Recklings
    Fondrens
    Pappas'
    Ken Lay's daughter
    Lawrence Marshall's son
There's one guy who was a finalist on that Broadway reality show
    David Weekley
I forgot what his name is, but he was in the millitary and served as like the chief military advisor to Bush but got fired for exposing something that Bush didn't like

There are more but I can't bring more to mind.

Kenny Rogers went to both my middle school and high school. I don't recall if Kathryn J. Whitmire (former mayor of Houston) also went to my high school, but went to my middle school.

Carl Crawford played football and baseball and was all-America, now playing for the Tampa Bay Devil Rays, also an all-star here in Houston's game.

Among others, Gene Green, and Basketball's Lakers' Slater Martin (our gymnasium is named after him).

    Houston's Reagan? You're kidding, right?
