Prediction time. Well given all the surprises in last years playoffs i will try to pick this seasons surprises.

    First round

    West

    1 Mavs
    8 Kings

Mavs in 4 - Mavs have been impressive all this year but need to give up a game to give the rest of the league some hope.

    4 Wolves
    5 Jazz

Wolves in 3 - Jazz, my preseason favorite, has disappointed me all this season - now its time for them to start disappointing BGM also.

    3 Spurs
    6 Lakers

Spurs in 4 - I expected Spurs as one of the best teams this season, and had Lakers struggling. Time to prove my point.

    2 Blazers
    7 Rockets

Blazers in 5 - Blazers has proved to be human this season and Rockets have improved plenty in the latter part of the season. But Blazers will win in 5.

    East

    1 Sixers
    8 Celtics

Sixers in 4 - This is not my favorite matchup. But I did promise that I wouldnt choke again this season in the first round. The Players also know that last seasons chokers have been traveling the league since. And they will get it done.

    4 Knicks
    5 Wizards

Wizards in 4 - Knicks has surprised me some this season - or they have suprised all the others as my team has had no problems with them. Wizards proved to be a playoff team, last season and will get it done again.

    3 Nets
    6 Pacers

Nets in 3 - Nets did also get it going from a lower seed last season, beating out Raptors in 3. This time they will repeat the feat. as the favorite.

    2 Bucks
    7 Pistons

Pistons in 5 - Pistons have proved to be dangerous when they get it going, and lackluster if they dont. This is the real deal so they will come out with there best effort.

    Second round

    West

    1 Mavs
    4 Wolves

Mavs in 6 - Wolves is though, but not that though.

    2 Blazers
    3 Spurs

Spurs in 7 - Blazers up 15 in the 4th of game 7 - choke, choke, choke. Who said The Sim isn't like the real deal? [IMG]

    East

    1 Sixers
    5 Wizards

Sixers in 4 - Oh yeah. You betcha. This is revenge time. Bring out the brooms.

    7 Pistons
    3 Nets

Nets in 7 - I just can't see Nets losing, but they keep on losing - so they will need 7 to get past Pistons.

    Conference Finals

    West

    1 Mavs
    3 Spurs

Mavs in 6 - Mavs again proving tobe too strong. Ceballos to clinch game 6. Who said he wasnt a worthy starter?

    East

    1 Sixers
    3 Nets

Sixers in 7 - I got to go with my own team here. Not that I can't see Nets getting out on top, but we really want to test ourself vs the best.

    NBA Finals

    1 Mavs
    1 Sixers

Mavs in 5 - My season was the preseason and the beginning of the season, and if we can't get back to that form we can't stop the Mavs. But we'll find a way to win one game.

    mavs
    kings
the kings may take a game, they have played me to i belive 2 ties. thats actually something to brag about. 3-0 Mavs if money matters tho

    Wolves
    Jazz

sorry BGM, but i say wolves in 5.
wolves are NOT at all concistant, but can beat anyone on a good night, trust me i know.

    spurs
    Lakers
i would say the lakers because they beat me early this season, but the spurs are better in a series.4 games

Blazers play someone, im sure they gonna whoop em. blazers in 3, unless Cat tries to cheat [IMG]

    sixers
    celts
go boston go boston go boston. but heath will not duplicate his comedic efforts of last season. heath in 4 over pued.

    knicks
    wizards
the knicks seem to have gotten worse compared to last year, and now they DM have a GM, so i think the wiz will advance again. wiz in 5, or maybe knicks in 4.
    ok wiz, wiz in 5.

    nets
    Pacers

the pacers DEFFINATELY got worse this year with a GM, so i will take the nets. dont know who is on your team, but your gonna win. lets predict 4 games. well the nets DID beat me, so i gotta give them respect.

    bucks
    pistons

the bucks are the only team in this league to beat me more than once. 2-2 vs me makes me say 3-0 vs whoever. than and i dont think hte pistons are much better than last year. mind you i think the bucks are worse than last year too.

    PEACE

They may beat me, but I doubt whoop me. My trio of Francis, Iverson, and Carter rivals yours of Kidd, Finley, and Malone quite well.

Yeah, OK "Voice of the Pacers." We'll see how well you run them next season. Maybe they are worse because they lost Miller & Rose & O'Neal & Best & Harrington & Crochere to the draft? [IMG]

    Make it 3.

What are you smoking I went from 35-47 to 44-38 and played the top teams in the West more than I played the teams in the East.

VOR's smack would be much easier to get offended by if he were to use just a little punctuation. Reading it as it is now, it seems like criticism from an 8 year old, and I find it hard to take that seriously. [IMG]

    Looks they were wrong too...

If mediocre and inconsistent had a team name and a starting five they would be the Minnesota Timberwolves and Michael Olawakand, Elton Brand, Shareef Abdur-Rahim, Michael Dickerson, and Terrell Brandon.

Next year will be the year of the wolf!
