This is no firesale. However, the MVP is available for a dominant post player. Of course this will not take effect until next year-- but I have three dominant perimeter players and no stars down low.

Attention: I do not need depth, and will not take it. Don't offer me this three good players for one bit... I don't need it. I need a dominant post player, such as Duncan, Garnett, etc. preferably in a deal like Iverson, Jerome Williams (10 pts, 10 reb) for dominant post guy, pretty good SG.

Now, I know there is a class right below those guys, and I am still interested. Players in this class would include people like Wallace, Brand, Malone, Walker, etc. However, to get the MVP with those, I'd need them and a good SG for Iverson someone at PF like Geiger, Joe Smith, etc.

I'm not desperate to move the guy... however I would like a dominant post player, and I know several of you guys have multiple guys down low and are low on perimeter scoring. The MVP is available... let me know if you have any offers.

I do not have what you want but I might offer up Gary Payton in a 3 way deal to get Iverson. On the other hand I will not trade Payton straight up for Iverson, so it would have tobe a bigger deal. And I know that will comlicate matters - Just wanted you to know that I do want my choker back. Any time you lose someone is a choker Heath. [IMG] Heath is just being prepared to offer Payton because he has to have someone to blame if he loses again... [IMG]

So what do you think about Mutombo? It doesn't get much better than that. Maybe 15 and 15 next year plus 4 blocks. His numbers will get much better with Phil. I would want to think about it for some time, maybe would even make the deal at the Draft depending on who's already been picked. I kinda like having a post man though. They are so few and far between. Let me know what your initial thoughts are...

Tim Duncan might be available in the offseason, but i might want a little more than iverson and jerome williams for tim duncan and a good sg, because i think its a little harder to find a good post player than it is to find a good guard, im not talking anything big, maybe a high common pick or something.

    Interested in McDyess?

If so, what kind of deal are we talking about?

If everyone is there, I'll try not to rush anyone, but because of time constraints I'd like for you to be prepared to pick when it's your turn, like in the real draft. Let me ask you one more thing-- if for some reason you can't be there (send me a list just in case), would it be ok with you if I drafted for you the player I wanted and we then executed the trade whenever you came back?

Yeah, that would be ok Cat. I'll send you my list. I'd make that trade no matter who is on the board. If the player you want is gone, just draft the player that's on my list and that will be my pick. If he's there, feel free to draft for yourself. where do you want me to send my draft list?

    DC,

I have the Pistons first round common pick (15)...

    PSJ,

Mutombo I have some interest in, but not as much as the others. Granted, he is a great defender and rebounder, but I am more aiming for the type of player that can be a consistent scorer and rebounder from down low. Now, if somehow we could work in your rookie pick, which I believe you still have, with Mutombo then I definitely would have some interest...

    PSJ & BGM,

Wallace and McDyess are good, but they aren't to the MVP's level. I'd need one of them and a good SG or SF (like Bonzi Wells) for Iverson and a PF. A lotto rookie pick would do in place of an SG or SF in some cases.

Woohoo, got it in the right thread this time!

Is the San Antonio pick common or rookie? Also, as far as the trade, I can't do it right now for a couple of reasons. I want to field all offers for Iverson first, but more importantly, I want to see who is available when it's your pick in the draft. You will be in the draft chat Wednesday correct? (2 p.m.) If someone that I like is there, you may very well have a deal... let me know if you can make it.

Ok, it's my rookie (#10). I should be in the draft chat because it's during the work day. But you know how that can be. That deal will likely be a standing offer should you want to pull the trigger when my pick comes. Unless something dramatic happens I'm pretty much holding my ground. How long do we get to draft our player?

Just letting everyone know that Iverson is gone now, so I can't do your deal PSJ. You still need to send me a draft list I believe, or try to be there in person...

The draft list must be sent by everyone except for VJ. I will select for him on a best available and need basis, because he informed me that he had to be away from his computer until approximately July 1, and he did so before we had the draft appropriately organized and a procedure in place. However, VJ is the only exception I can make... the rest of you all know about the draft. If you're worried that you can't be there, or that your internet connection will have problems, send me a list asap of the players you want in order. Remember, 2 pm tomorrow isn't far away...

P.S.-- Even if you don't have picks, or have a list, I strongly advise you to try and show up in the chat tomorrow. It will be one of the few times that we'll have almost everyone together, so a lot of trade talk may get going.
