Yah I was thinkin of Smith too after I read this http://www.dailyherald.com/sports/story.asp?id=205763
I wouldn't mind Gooden. He's a 10-10 player, at the least. I like his rebounding instincts. I believe he also plays both the 4 and 5, so that's a valuable asset as well. I also wouldn't mind seeing Flip Murray here. He's instant offense and a scorer, plus he has experience playing with a star swingman and star post after playing with Cleveland last year. He seemed to play pretty well with LeBron. As far as Banks, eh. He's quick and can penetrate but I don't think he's better than Alston. In fact, Lucas brings that same quickness and ability to attack the rim, plus he's a better shooter. So I wouldn't mind bypassing Banks, getting Murray and Gooden, re-signing Bogans.
Smith for the small TE. Maybe even a future 2nd? Get that **** done CD. Redeem yourself. Even if he turns out to be worst than stromile, still worth the risk. What the hell do we have to lose by doing that? Nothing really.
Mcgrady, Gooden and Howard, it's just like Orlando's disastrous 2003 season... is this a sign? Getting Ariza would be like pissing on the GayStro-Battier "win now, we don't need incredible, long, young talent" trade. **** CD.
