This thread is to exalt the stupidity of our organizations management. to relieve your stress or anger towards our stingy and uncooperative people who run this organization that fan's love so dearly. They have screwed us all. Anyone on this board running GM would have given our team a great future..... but not CD, OR JVG.. nope.. they take away Gay Swift and James.... and leave us with.. Battier..

THANKS! THANKS A LOT!! for this ridiculous offseason that has left me scarred with a deep hatred for all of you. Why can't you appease fans over what YOU think is better and give us something to cheer about? WHY do you guys continuously do things that you know will upset fans?

As far as the Draft day trade goes...they had to be smoking something to give that much up.

But as far as Mike James...screw his ass. He wanted a no trade clause on his contract. He can kiss my ass. The only person I know who has that is Kobe. And despite his initials, MJ is not the best guard or best player in the NBA.

That 31 year old would have given us two good years where after that everyone would b**** about the then retired CD and his last offseason where he screwed us by signing this old fart to a contract w/ a no trade clause. People would say that we are wasting good Yao and hopefully T-mac years. Basically the b****ing would never stop. So as far as fan feedback, they were damned either way. I am happy they chose the safer option. Lets get Banks, Ariza, Cato, or some other decent rotational players and hope they can contribute w/ our core of Yao, T-mac, and Battier.

Granted MJ could have potentially given us 20 ppg as a 3rd option. But if Battier, Banks, and Ariza can give avg 30 w/ decent D then I think we came out on top. Throw in the 50 ppg b/w Yao and Tmac. That gives us 80. Now if the rest of the team can come up w/ atleast 15 ppg I will be very freaking happy. Basically the goal right now is to get 95 ppg and I think we will be good. We wont avg near 110 ppg like the Suns cuz we actually play D and will have more of a half-court game.

I like the draft day deal, you were getting a player in Battier who not only does everything well he also is a high iq player.

As far as Mike James nobody really knows the whole story but if he would of taken the deal the T-Wolves offered to play here I think CD droped the ball IMHO.

I thought you said you wanted decent players?

Azia couldnt log 13 minutes a night on the floor for Orlando! ORLANDO!

Dont get me started on Cato....Dont get me started :D

I doubt Banks in his entire career will ever be a good as Rafer or James.

Yup the Season looks set with those 3....

    Dear Dwang -

If nothing else, I appreciate the thread to do nothing but b**** and whine. With a nod to so many others on CC.Net whose pain thresh-hold is evidently either much higher, or whose penchant for forgiveness is set on rapid-fire, I am simply not there.

I know, I know... I'm REALLY immature, and I need to simply "let it go" but I'm just not ready!!!   !!!

I'm still not over the draft day massacre perpetrated by Jerry West. I can hear the manical laughter all the way from Memphis!!

And now, after inexcusably trading MJ for Reefer, another hideosly lopsided deal, we have basically given 3/5ths of anyone's starting five in the NBA in Gay, Swift and MJ to a Division opponent.

As I mentioned in another thread, there is NO ONE outside the ROX organization who have anything positive to say about our "draft." And now, with insult added to injury, MJ chooses Memphis

At least he chose an organization that has someone with smarts leading it!!!

    Dear Rockets-R-Us:

A modicum of intelligence would probably have been enough for you to fathom the difference between Memphis and Minnesota. Neither of which are in our division.

Memphis and Minnesota could be an easy mistake to make when you are typing angry so I would let that go.

And as far as calling out peoples intelligence, I would double check who is in our division before you started saying that. I beleive that you will find that Memphis IS in our division. Calling someone out over a simple mistake by making a bigger one makes YOU look like the idiot.

Oh yeah that's right, Memphis *is* in our division. My mistake, and I apologize. Gratuitous whining just tends to tick me off, you know.

I like Battier on our team, but not what we gave up for him.

Also, I was throwing Banks and Ariza names in there cuz thats what everyone else has been saying. Basically if we can just get some of these younger guys to learn how to shoot 3's and play decent defense, I dont care if they dont have the scoring versatility of MJ. Shaq and Kobe didnt have a 3rd scorer and neither did Clyde or Dream. They just had a bunch of guys that could knock down open shots and play decent defense. I am still sticking with the idea that that is all we need.

So bring on these young guys, lock them in the Toyota Center and dont let them leave without shooting 500 3's and running a few defensive drills a day for the rest of the offseason and we will see what happens. Like I said TMac and Yao will average about 50 ppg this season. Now if we can just get the next 6 players in the rotation to average 45ppg (that is a little less than 8 per person) while still playing decent to good defense which is automatic under Gundy, I will be very freaking happy.
