my gf was real pissed at them. shes kind of fiery too. the dudes daughter who was like 18 or 19 started mouthing off too after he pulled me down(can you believe that?). my gf kinda lost control and started to get into it with her. she was telling me that she wanted to slap the $hit out of the daughter haha. i had to sit her down and tell the dudes daughter to shut up too.
Oh yeah, and I'm pretty sure your girlfriend is a jinx. She was at both games that somebody starts messing with you, plus the Astros lost last night's game. You better leave her at home from now on and go with a buddy to all future games...

that reaaalllly sucks bro, i hope it doesnt happen again, i dont know how long uve lived in houston before, but ive had my run ins with the, no offense, beer drinkin red neck people, not at sports events, but just in other places especially the road, sometimes u just have to deal with it, i try to keep my cool with them cuz who knows they may just have a shot gun with them
i know this poster...don't believe a word he says, b/c this sounds completely fabricated. jk...dude, i can't believe this happened to you. i was reading the post w/o looking at who posted it, and was surprised when i saw your id there. houston's one of the best sports towns, but i have to say we have some of the worst fans b/c of the demographic of this city. that's why i love clutchfans - you know the fans here are true to their title. i wonder what would've happened if you landed some punches. madmax would have to represent you.
If he had landed some punches, the Astros probably would have signed him to a contract, because their current lineup sure can't hit anything right now...
Don't let fools like that keep you from going to a game. I'm suprised this happened at an Astros game because the crowd actually gets into it there, unlike the Rockets. But shoot just sit in the upper levels next time; there's no chance anyone would do that to you up there since it consists mainly of the blue-collar hardcore fans screaming their butts off; that's especially true at rockets games.
I agree with Junyarddog. Don't let this stop you from going to another game. Theres always gonna be some jerk anywhere you go. Just keep in mind this is the same city that welcomed the entire New Orleans population with open arms. I've gone to Rockets games with my friends who cuss a lot, and we'll be sitting next to little kids and the parents never say anything. It kind of surprises me sometimes.
