Hmmm, that's the first time I've seen an official Rockets logo on black (see shorts). A sign of things to come?

Can anyone confirm, is this the year we are allowed our alternates or no?!?

At the draft party, the Rockets shop was selling black Yao and TMac jerseys. It was black with grey trim. I was hoping it would be black with red trim but it was still pretty cool.

I hope Lucas does make the team. Who cares if he's 5'10". He's uptempo can change the pace of a game coming off the bench. Look at that guy on Denver that is only 5'6" and is a very successful bench player.... his name escapes me right now...

Are you talking about Earl Boykins, the short guy who can dunk? :D

Earl Boykins. I thought JL3 was good for the team last year. His straight-line speed was second-to-none in the games that I saw him play. I thought they should have kept him and cut Moochie. (Of course, then we wouldn't have had the valuable trade exception we have now.)

    Excuse my ignorance.

If the Rox wanted to sign JL3, would they have any advantage over other teams (other than the fact that he likes the rockets) or is he straight up a free agent where every team has an equal opportunity to pick him up.

I believe he is a free agent and can sign with anyone.
