Man this video brings back memories....this is a crazy job in the game though....He used to rule in the game... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8PBvOxicz-0&search=tecmo bowl
tecmo, not techmo. i've run out the whole quarter before with either thurman thomas or barry sanders. and i've started from the opponents 1 and run all the way backwards and then gone all the way back forward for the 1 yard touchdown. but i never thought of trying going the length of the field 3 times. as long as it's one of the good rb's in excellent condition (or probably bo or barry in good condition) it shouldn't be that hard to do.
Pffft, an 8 year old could do that for hours with Bo. Get back to me when he does that on a punt return.
I would have hit reset and then kicked my buddy's ass if he did that to me. Anyone remember Super Tecmo Bowl, I could sack the QB every time with Jerry Ball, down and dive = sack every time.
yeah...i actually used to play that more than tecmo super bowl. double drible was completely different
it wasnt as popular as tecmo superbowl, but i think its just as fun. a lot of people didnt really know about it cuz it was overshadowed by the release of super nintendo. tecmo nba was on NES and SNES but it eventually failed cuz of NBA LIVE 95 its a really fun game. i still play it every now and then. the rockets suck in the game. hakeem isnt that good...and we have TREE Rolins as his backup....i wonder if gamestop still sells nintedo games. im sure you can find it
tecmo nba was really fun but like the football game there were a few cheap moves that you could pull off almost anytime.
My favorite play on "Bowl" was a 110 yd TD pass from Warren Moon to Givens. From the bottom corner on the left, to the top on the right! Who said the Oilers never won a Super Bowl? It happened in my room all summer long that year!
I used to love being the Raiders on that game. Bo and Marcus every play, then on defense Howie Long. I used to drop him into pass coverage and just follow the arrow of the deep receiver. Interception, run back. I'd humiliate the computer (probably to get back at it because of the @#%$@! AI on Ninja Gaiden back in the day) every chance I got. Scores in the triple digits against the poorer teams (such as the Seahawks) were not uncommon.
Tree Rollins, John Turner, Otis Thorpe, Vernon Maxwell, etc. I remember playing every team in the playoffs in 1995 so everyone's record was the same as in real life. Wasn't easy though. The Orlando Magic were terrible.
