Othella Harrington is 6-9, he's not a center. We'd be better off going for a different player if you want depth at PF or C.

You do not need to be 7' to play PIVOT. Quit using the word CENTER. There are about four CENTERS in the NBA. All you need is somebody that can rebound, defend the interior, and get you some blocks.

You can also just about get rid of the PG/SG thing, too. Today's NBA is just like like it was when we were kids: guard, wing, post.

We are fortunate to have the best big man in the NBA that doesn't play facing the basket 90% of the time ala Dirk, and who isn't overrated ala TIM DUNCAN (I'd take Garnett any day over Duncan).

But I digress...QUIT WORRYING ABOUT HOW DAMN TALL SOMEBODY IS. You don't win with height in the NBA. Speed and grit are what does it now.

Othella Harrington would bring quality depth to the Rockets but do they really want another non-athletic PF onto the seen. Plus, I think the only way Harrington ends up on the Rockets is if he signs for the vet. min. I would wait and see how most of free agency plays out and if we don't sign anybody and he is still available then sign him.

Yeah man, Junior Harrington's playing solid ball for the Grizzlies summer league team...... ;)

Keep an open mind...Reece Gaines is a free agent...ya know, the backup point guard we been looking for.......?:p

Nice! A few searches on the Myspace have dashed some of those old images i've held onto...So the same should apply to Othella

I would love to have Othella My Fella back in town. At least that's a face that Houston fans can recognize. I swear, part of the reason that the Rockets don't have a solid fan support in Houston is because nobody can identify with any of the players. There were times last year, where I didn't even know who the hell was on the floor.

Bringing back Harrington would be a good first step in giving our team an identity.
