When Dream comes back there is bound to be some change, and one of it should be the front court combination.

CB and Dream can certainly play well together, but somehow that's not the optimum combination.

The way I look at it, the Rockets should pair Hakeem with Kenny Thomas, and CB with Cato in the frontcourt.

First, Hakeem is a shot blocker and so does Kenny Thomas, we will get two shotblockers in the front court that way. They both provide good rebounding, the most important of all, Kenny Thomas can hit the outside shots and has shown a knack to set picks, with him playing outside the lane is freed up for others. Maybe this is good for Hakeem, he can get the ball all the time wihout worrying about Kenny's touches.

As for CB and Cato, first of all, they have been playing well together in the last few games. Cato also provides a strong shotblocking presence, on the other side the Round Mouond of Rebound will make it up on the boards as Cato is avarage, if not weak, in rebounding.

The concept is to use players to cover each other's weaknesses and accomodate their respective game at the same time. The way Kenny is playing I can't care less about Tmass. What do you think?

    Methinks FF speaks the truth.

    1) Barkley is a better rebounder than the dream, which is needed on the defensive end when Cato goes for a block.

2)Kenny is good, but not good enough to play extended minutes with Bark. His D isn't strong enough to be with Bark.

3)Need some Vet inside at all times.

4)Thomas needs minutes to mature into the permanet rotation.

Final Fantasy...While I don't always agree with you, on this point you make PERFECT sense.

I really want Kenny Thomas to take Carlos Rogers minutes, he has shown WAY more poise and is a threat on both ends of the floor. Rudy is really good at picking guys that can play in the NBA.

I think the key is he picks guys that have LOADS of confidence.

Thanks guys, I haven't put my fav Tbone Ham and Tony Burger into the equation yet, man the Rockets are deep! Go Rockets!!!!!!

Yeah I have to give Rudy and Dawson some credit for their draft choices, they had some busts so does every other GM and coach. Man I'm exicted about this season I actually think we can beat the Blazers and Jazzholes the next time, and of course the Suns will turn into the Lightbulbs under our feet!

    FF-
I do like Cato and Barkley together. I don't know if their should be exclusive players in together.
Cato does a nice job of cutting to the basket when CB is doubled in the post.
Also Cato has been such an impressive shot blocker that it makes Chuck, and everyone else look better on D. I know Dream is a great shot blocker, but Cato has been so active so far this year.
Plus Cato likes to run the floor. What a better thing to have than Chuck grabbing a board and having Francis leading the break with Cato on his right and Anderson/Cuttino on the left!
