Yeah it's a pathetic showing for Iran and the USA....Iran was picked to be the one team to have the best chance of advancing based on their team and everything. The head of Asia and everyone else said we are the team that could surprise people and we didn't live up to any of it thanks to injuries and inside fights between team members...just a shame...ill be looking forward to the next worldcup for sure.

I'm not complaining about italian play style...is just ridiculous u call the position of ur player passive! He was right in front of Buffon and in the line of sight of the shot so it was CLEARLY an offside.

I said as much, and that call was a decent call, but saying he was in his sight line is just ludicrous, he got to the ball, it just went through his fingers.

Off this subject, but is that cheater DeRossi going to play?

I really don't think Lippis is gonna start him, our center field is doing great without him.

I believe he served a 4 game suspension that will allow him to play in the finals but don't think he will start.

Wonder what kind of suspension from FIFA Rooney is going to get. They were talking about it yesterday.

LOL. Believe you that you speak without bias? Are you kidding me? Look at your nick. "Italian Rocket"? You are obviously a fan of the Italian squad, there is no way you can give an objective opinion. You see what you want to see.

When you write an exam, do you think you will give yourself the same grade as the professor that marks it?

Haha...funny joke. Weaklings or sissies? Meet me on a soccer pitch and we'll see who the weakling/sissie is. I bet you wouldn't last 5 minutes.

Italian rocket, Italy has a GREAT pedegree and history of football and one of the best leagues in the world. They have played a more offensive minded style in most of the matches of this WC while not sacrificing their amazing defense. The problem is that they do flop alot and the leader of that is the one considered their best player, Totti. The guy lacks class in every fashion. I believe he was sent off for diving in 2002 vs. S. Korea when Italy was beaten; then again in Euro 2004 he was suspended for spitting at a Danish player. Dude is always flopping around and disrespecting everyone.

Enjoy the Final but I have to root for Zizou in this one. Peace.

Anyone watching the 3rd place game?

Ricardo has shown to be a very good keeper, and Portugal desperately needs some better strikers. How can they live with Pauleta for so long?

Very pro-Germany officiating of the game so far, homefield advantage kicking in here...

Oh yah, and by far the most impressive goalkeeper in this cup has been Portugal's, Ricardo has been amazing!

Angola's Keeper was really good but he is old and won't be back next world cup, Buffon has played well also...

Definitly a pro German officiating job so far but Portugal has already started flopping.

Don't get mad at me - I'm just relaying the facts. Soccer is such an afterthought in American high school sports that it does not attract good athletes.

I run almost every day and would last more than five minutes on a soccer "pitch" without a problem, toughguy.

Man that last replay showed how bad Ronaldo flops and im glad the refs in all leagues know it. He compleltly flopped and while he is falling down looks at the ref. Give me a break...this guy is really pathetic to me.
