Let us hope that Steve Novak emulates the success of the last Rocket to dominate summer league play. The immortal Dan AIR Langhi.

Glad to see another one of our rookies do good atleast for his first game.
Maybe he'll have the same competitiveness as Luther Head :D

I don't know if it was already posted:

    By Marc Stein ESPN.com

Bargnani probably wasn't even the best rookie in the gym. Four games into the schedule on the UNLV campus, that status belongs to Houston Rockets rookie Steve Novak.

I have the same question  . IMO D-Wash has more potential than JL3 and definitely worth an NBA roster spot.

I remember last year that some players played a majority of the game then sat out the next. I think this gives the coach a better look at the players over longer stretches. Look for him to play a majority of the minutes this next game. Just my guess though.

I read somewhere that he attended, but did not coach.

Bargnani makes 'good first impression' in Vegas debut

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    By Marc Stein
    ESPN.com

LAS VEGAS -- Andrea Bargnani could not claim to be No. 1, performance-wise, on opening day in the Vegas Summer League. The best player in the gym was Portland's Martell Webster.

Bargnani probably wasn't even the best rookie in the gym. Four games into the schedule on the UNLV campus, that status belongs to Houston Rockets rookie Steve Novak.

No Tom Thibadeux (sp?) is coaching the team, JVG is just in attendance...

However, I remember Dan Langhi was tearing up the summer league when he was here. Twice he tore it up. He and Kirilenko went at it. Speaking of Dan, what happened to him? Where is he now?
