Ive sold a few things on ebay. Everytime i sell an item i get a couple of emails like those, talking about their sons/daughters/friends all over the world. And the fact that they would buy the item for a price alot more then it is worth. Clearly a scam.

I posted a PS1 and 11 games on craigslist and got this:

I am pleased with the conditon of the item and will offer you $90.00 with packaging.I will be paying via my United States Posta Service account (USPS) by sending you a money order. In respect to shipping , i will handle that myself via my FedEx account # , so you don't have to pay for it.All i need inorder to complete this sale is your full name and mailing address where the postal order will arrive after payment has been made and as well approved.Hope in doing business with you........Thanks.

Well, I received 3 more, VERY similar offers since my posting a few minutes ago. Each of them had the USPS money order comment, so yeah...scam.

yeah, many times they'll send you fake money order and ask for the a few hundred in change. they'll offer to way overpay so you will do them a favor. at which point you cash in their money order and send them a check or another money order back to them. some places can't even tell the money orders are fake, they look pretty darn close to the real thing.

i had a friend get scammed twice by some of these turds.
