Carroll is a shooter. Got most noticed when Jameer Nelson and Co. at St. Joe's made their tourney runs a few years back. He can bomb,but is not very quick and plays little defense.
Damn Novak and Lucas played great. I think we found our 3rd string PG and backup SF. Novak went 6-8 from 3 point land.
Lonny Baxter is a classic 4A player, basketballwise. He just can't perform at the top level. College and summer league suit him well. Novak had 8 fouls? Is summer league a street ball kind of thing where fouls don't really count? If that's the case, sign me up.
The boxscore does not add up: it should be POR 78 HOU 94. And I suppose there is no foul limit in summer league?

From the boxscore, looks like Novak was guarding Martell... He'll have to work on his perimeter D all summer to keep from ending up on our Austin team... Wish we could combine RyBo and Novak into one player...
